Meeting was called to order, followed by an opening prayer.

Situation Update:

  • There has a been a positive shift in the Gov of South Sudan. The General has called off an attack on the Nuer in Juba. The African Union and UN and EU were in support of this

    decision.

  • There has been a cut in funding for health care in South Sudan. 200 healthcare units

    have been closed. Two are reportedly in Pibor

Old Business:

  • Update on upcoming mission trip to include delivery of Talking Bibles, midwifery equipment and eyeglasses

New Business

  • Information is being compiled for the Boma Assistance Group Annual Report

  • The group discussed a request for assistance in construction of the church in Pibor; that will not be possible until there is peace in the region

  • Reviewed the items that were to be sent for February support
